Joint City / Lincoln County Meeting: Data Centers

The Sioux Falls City Council and the Lincoln County Commission meet jointly to discuss data centers. This is the follow-up they promised after the August meeting, where a proposed moratorium on data centers failed 3 to 2, along with a proposed ban on non-disclosure agreements in the joint jurisdiction area.

Concerns raised so far have been energy costs, water use, property values, and how much of the development agreements stay private.

The city lists a 7:00pm start and no end time. Public comment is not confirmed on the city’s listing either. If you plan to speak, check the agenda when it posts or call the city first.
