DESCRIPTION:A chance to walk the old quarry site next to Falls Park and say what you think it should become. \nIn July the city and the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation announced $15 million from the Bezos Earth Fund to transform the site. Stone from this quarry built the Old Courthouse Museum and parts of the state penitentiary\, and then the place sat derelict for decades. \nThis is a public input session\, so the point is showing up and being heard about what a new outdoor space in this city should be for. \nMore info: siouxfalls.gov
